Courses

The courses listed below are those for which we have a regular demand. If you require a specially tailored course, pllease don't hesitate to contact us.
A - Machine course (Settings) - 5 days The course is designed for seamer mechanics and technicians with emphasis on seam setting, magazine setting and timing. Double seam evaluation is dealt with in depth, including practice of correcting seam faults and running faults.

B - Machine course (Maintenance) 5 days This course is designed for technicians with learning experience (ideally gained by attending course A). The course consists of the strip down and inspection of the sub assemblies of the machine with preventative maintenance discussed together with rebuild and the relevant building checks.

C - Seam quality control - 2 days Intended for management and quality control personnel etc. who may be required to make recommendations for seam adjustments. The course covers the terminology used, the productionand evaluation seams and fault diagnosis and correction.

D - General appraisal - Duration dependant on number of machines For chief engineers, production managers etc. who require familiarisation with the machines available. The course consists of an outline explanation of the functions and settingsof the various machine types.

E - Hydraulic drive units - 3 days This course is designed to give an understanding of the seamer hydraulic drive units, their settings, maintenance and fault finding. An audio visual programme is followed by the stripping and rebuilding of the unit, setting, commissioning and preventative maintenance procedures

F - Refresher course - 3 days This course is directed at the trainee who has at some time attended an A or B type course. The trainees are updated in the latest double seam technology and target setting and preventative maintenance procedures are re-affirmed.
